Aw! I love my little Andrew—his mommy [my mom’s good friend] is over at my house to watch Raising Helen with my mom. And she got a call from her other son [who’s 11] saying that Andrew and Gracie wouldn’t go to bed. Soooo I volunteered to drive up there and help. So I got there and Colleen [the oldest] was watching a movie with MY sister. I went into Andrew’s [age 4] room and read him some books—Calvin and Hobbes, along with a Winnie the Pooh book. I tucked him in, prayed with him, and he blew me kisses. Hopefully he’s sleeping soundly :D I love those 4 kids so much.
So when I was at Borders the other night, I was reading a really neat baby name book. It gave the meaning and the biblical meaning. Plus, I got some neat ideas for baby names—not that I’m having kids anytime soon ;) So here’s a list of some of my favorite names….[potentials for my future kids]. What are YOURS? Seriously, I’d love to hear what names you like!
Boys
Cameron
Braden
Landon [oh goodness….I’m seeing a pattern here with the endings!]
Carson [ “…on” AGAIN! What in the world! Haha]
Chase
Girls
Adria
Kassy
Regan [could be a boy or girl]
Sydney
Laina
Vianna
Now I’m off to write a few thank-you notes and enjoy some gummi bears that Julian bought me for my birfday! Mmm I’m addicted.
| ^^^yay, chels found my missing CD!!! It was in the seat pocket behind the driver's seat. woopsie.
I posted these photos this morning, but I have some stuff I want to add.....and since xanga was being dumb earlier, I just scratched the whole post and I'm starting clean.
****There are 7 of you who posted on my last entry (that I wrote about Thursday) so it'd be really nice if you could comment again, since xanga is acting like a moronita :P ****
Not much to say: my life usually revolves daily around—work, check email/chat a few minutes online, go out or crash inside, phone time, bed.
My sister was GREAT these past few days while my parents were on a get-away trip : ) She played mommy and daddy and did MOST of the cooking and cleaning while I was working each day. Xoxo ya, chels. You’re the grrrrrr-eatest! <3
Last night I was coming home from work at 8:45pm and saw THIS:

And look at THESE clouds [coming home from the mall Thursday night]

^That makes me want to hop from cloud to cloud....how fun would THAT be?? :)
God, you are amazing for creating the beautiful scenery for us!

Edit// I hesitate to write entries like this, because I don't want to mislead any of you into thinking I'm "perfect" when it comes to this area of life. I've been in several emotional relationships with guys, and at the time I was giving a little piece of my <3heart<3 to them (As weird as this sounds, it's like I took back those broken pieces and now my heart is whole again...) But I've learned so much and I've grown from those experiences, so I don't regret them. Just do your best to guard your heart...but I know it's easier said than done!
I was tempted to make this entry private, but I decided against it. Maybe it'll encourage someone...*shrug* (Though I won't make it terribly mushy-gushy since this is a public site that ANYONE has access to. Which is kinda creepy when you think about it...) Here goes...
Disclaimer: I know there are some of you who probably won't agree with what I'm going to say, and that's fine! I'm not saying you're a horrible person if you don't have the same views! I just feel led to write out my thoughts here in my own journal.
Darling did you know that I dream about you, And Darling did you know that I pray about you, Praying that you will hold on Keep your loving eyes only for me Because I am waiting for, praying for you Wait for me too, wait for me as I wait for you
Did you know I dream about life together Knowing you will be forever. I'll be yours and you'll be mine. And Darling when I say, "till death do us part", I'll mean it with all of my heart, now and always faithful to you -RSJ
This might sound hopelessly mushy, but several times recently I've thought about my future husband--wherever he is or whoever he may be. Only God knows! It's so exciting knowing/hoping he's out there right now...somewhere. Possibly in high school doing hwork tonight. Or maybe in college chillin' with some of his buddies this evening.
Sure, I'd like a boyfriend right now but obviously the timing isn't right. I'm NOT saying I'm not going to date in the future. (But right now, I'm only 17. What's the point, really?) Before I become somebody's girlfriend I want to be close friends with him first. I'm not planning to just be like "hey you're cute, and we like each other so I'll be your gf!" No.
Geez this is longer than I had planned. Let me close by just encouraging you to do your BEST to stay pure for your future husband/wife. Everyone makes mistakes, but at least try. And if you're the praying type, say a prayer for your future husband/wife whenever it crosses your mind. How cool would it be to be able to tell them (once you're engaged or whatnot) "I've been waiting for you all my life...you've been in my prayers since I was *insert age* and I've always loved you, even though I didn't know you." Or something romantic like that. (wow, I'm such a girl! heh) Maybe you even want to write a hand-written note to your future "the one" which you could eventually give them. ...
If you hold out (I don't just mean sexual abstinence) for your future husband/wife, I'm sure they will be incredibly thankful and blessed! You can't go wrong. And if you think about it, in the long run you have nothing to lose by waiting.
"If you're saving yourself for me, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart; I'm so appreciative if that's the case. If you messed up in the past, I'll love you any way. But try hard, babe." -AE
